My son found the games to be very exciting. He wanted to continue each level just to get to go to the next level. I found the different ways to hear the story helpful.
Upon the first read had the book read to him. As he learned to recognize the words it built his confidence to be able to read alone and still be able to touch the words he didn't know. I found the rhyming words helpful.
Tag is geared toward all leaning styles - auditory, visual and kinetic. It keeps kids motivated with the games and music. When my son saw he could read this story it gave him the confidence to wan to read other books!
