I used the system with my 5 year old. She was very excited to try to figure out how the TAG knew the page she was on, as she also has the LeapPad, and the TAG is easier for her to use. We used it in the car on the way home for the games, and in the evenings in a more one-on-one setting. Katie

My son found the games to be very exciting. He wanted to continue each level just to get to go to the next level. I found the different ways to hear the story helpful. Upon the first read had the book read to him. As he learned to recognize the words it built his confidence to be able to read alone and still be able to touch the words he didn't know. I found the rhyming words helpful. Tag is geared toward all leaning styles - auditory, visual and kinetic. It keeps kids motivated with the games and music. When my son saw he could read this story it gave him the confidence to wan to read other books! Sharon

Very Positive. Our Cara always disdained reading and felt that it was very boring. With LeapFrog's Tag Reading System she has fun. She enjoys learning because she can now interact. It's amazing to see her so enthused to use the system. The way the Tag system works is magical and makes learning to read exciting. It motivates the child to read because reading is now rewarding! You’ve done it again! I continue to be impressed by LeapFrog’s products with regard to literacy. As a teacher and a mom, I know how important it is for children to develop a love of reading early on. The TAG Reading System gives my 4 year old twins an opportunity to discover the world of reading on their own…something they’re big on at this stage in their life. After receiving our TAG in the mail, my daughter carried it with her everywhere, telling everyone she knows that she could read this book “all by herself!” When he finally got a turn, my son sat for over 45 minutes (which is huge for a 4 year old) clicking on the pictures of the characters and playing the “games”. Thank you for continuing to keep education at the forefront of your toys! I will be a life long supporter! Carrie

My son was very excited when I introduced him to the Tag Reader. He loved the fact that he could use it in the car. Overall...we loved it and my son is learning lots of rhyming words. As a teacher, I've noticed that more and more children today don't want to read. I believe that having a product like this will encourage them and give them a love of reading and learning. Amanda

I love it! Both of my children have enjoyed playing with it. I really liked how compact it is. They would take with them in the car. I would highly recommend this product to others. It is a great tool across a wide age range. Karen

My daughter loves the Tag Reader. It's great for teaching them to track words. She loves the game part on the bottom. I love the questions for comprehension from the bottom. We have all of the leapfrog systems and I definitely like his one the best for reading. It is MUCH easier to tote than the leappad and others and seems to teach many of the same skills. My daughter hasn't left it at home since wve got it. So it definitely has worked for her. I give it an A+. Shonna

My son and I had a pleasant experience using the Tag book. The book that came with the program was very nice. The pictures were cute and the characters were liked by my son. I do feel that it would encourage and excite them about reading and interacting with parents during the time they are using the program. Jeremy

My daughter loved it! She would get the Tag reader out on her own and spend up to an hour reading the story, practicing sight words, and attempting the games! She especially enjoyed the introductions by the story characters when she touched their pictures. When I sat and introduced the book and the Tag Reader system to her, she grabbed it out of my hands and excitedly exclaimed, "I can do this myself!" Children are more likely to enjoy reading when they realize that they are capable of decoding text themselves. The Tag Reader is a great tool of learning concepts of print, one to one word correspondence and sign words. It excites a young reader to "do it myself!" Michele
