I wish I could say this actually was the case for me. I was excited to find there was an update, so I installed it. When it completed, I couldn't launch Leapfrog Connect. The splash screen would appear, and then just go away. I then reinstalled the app from the Leapfrog site, since it appeared to be the latest version. My 2GB SD card was still not recognized, nor was my 256MB card. Since I work in a technical field, I figured I would try formatting the cards myself, so I did quick formats to both. That seems to have done the trick, as both cards then were able to sync the downloaded games and they were accessible. So, while it works, it isnt working as described. If you have trouble with the unit not recognizing your card, try formatting it yourself. The unit doesn't appear to be formatting as it is supposed to.

The issues affecting 128MB, 256MB and 512MB SD cards have been resolved for the PC and higher memory cards up to 2GB are now compatible with Leapster2. LeapFrog recommends formatting a standard SD card with a memory size less than or equal to 2GB. This does not include the new SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards. We appreciate your patience and the peer support offered to fix this issue as our team diligently worked to correct the problem.

The LeapFrog Connect Tool (version 1.6.6.6292) now formats and intializes memory cards up to 2GB for the PC. We hope that you'll return to the forums to let LeapFrog and other parents know how your child enjoys the new Leapster2 device, games and online activities.
