DADDYDIDDY,

Sorry that you're having trouble installing the LeapFrog Connect application. Please contact Customer Support to resolve your issue.

Once you're up-and-running please return to the LeapFrog Community to let us know how she likes Tag. If she loves her new books we'd be delighted to have her join the Tag Book Club where she can write a review or post a video to let other kids know what's so cool about each title!

I followed the directions and finally got connect to work but now it does not recognise my internet connection when I try to add new books.  Is there any way to make this thing work?

Thank you so much! You are so prompt in replying.  I managed to install with your new link!  BUT, when I try to download the audio, it kept prompting a message "you need an internet connection to use this page.  Please check your internet connectivity."

I am already connecting to the Internet, why do I still get this message? and I could not download any audio files...  I went into the settings button, there isn't any network settings etc.. did I miss anything?  and I am from Singapore, does it matter if I did not choose the right country?

Thank you so much!

Taggie and Bobcat, I'm happy to report that we have a solution which should get you up and running in no time. First, download the file

Please click here for Tag File

 and then follow these steps:

PC Users:
1. Open the zip file and click EXTRACT.
(When you open the zip file, you will be asked for a location to save the zip file. Save the zip file to your Desktop or to another folder that you can easily find.)

2. Once the files are extracted, open the "LeapFrog Connect Setup - Tag" folder. (Make sure to open the "LeapFrog Connect Setup - Tag" folder, not the zip file.)

3. Within the "LeapFrog Connect Setup - Tag" folder, double click on "LeapFrogConnectSetup_Tag.exe".

4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Sorry for the problems, but happy to have a ready solution.  Let me know if there's any problem?

I'm happy to report I successfully installed Connect on my computer.  LeapFrog customer support emailed me a newly created link to a modified download of the application and it worked fine without giving me the error message. Thank you.

Thanks for the report, and your patience bobcat.  I'll do my best to get an answer to you ASAP, so please check back.

 Mark

ps: Bobcat, you mentioned that you had seen this problem in online product reviews.  Do you happen to remember where that was?  I try to keep up with these, but haven't seen this problem mentioned before.

I was delighted to receive our Tag in the mail. However, during installation of the Connect software cd, we get the error message "Download failed due to possible network corruption."  The same error message persists when attempting to download the software directly from Leapfrog.com.  I phoned technical support but they did not know the answer.  I am running Windows XP with plenty of memory and do not have a firewall enabled on my computer.  I have reviewed the online help documentation but do not see this problem listed.  I see from internet reviews that others have experienced this same problem--Has anyone been able to resolve it?  Thank you very much for your help--our kids are eager to try it.
