Yanieb, here is a more precise answer for you. Please let me know if there's anything else we can help with.

To create a nickname, touch the green star game button on the bottom, right side of the title page (located inside the book opposite the picture of the alphabet ladder). The personalization game will launch and provide the following instructions:

1. Touch the boy or girl button on the left side of the spread.
2. Touch the first letter of your first name on the alphabet pad.
3. Now, touch the first letter of your last name on the alphabet pad.

Completing the above steps generates a nickname for your child. The nickname is a two word nickname based on the initials of your child's name. Your child will hear the nickname periodically when they complete games throughout the book.

First off, welcome! I'm not sure that this is what you mean, but you can create a 'profile' which might establish the nickname. I have a question in for you on that. Meantime, here are the instructions to make a profile:

Can I change the name of my Tag profile?

Yes. Log in using the Tag profile that you would like to change. Click on the Settings button in the top right corner of the LeapFrog Application window to open the Settings window. Click on the Tag Reader tab, enter a new Tag profile name, and click the Apply button. Note that your Tag Reader does not need to be connected to make this change.
